There are more than 70 million baby boomers in the US alone born from post World War II to about 1964. If we would use musical eras, we could say the baby boomers were those musicians born between the end of the Swing Era and the beginning of Disco, and for those who listened to it, this time frame would extend decades. While that may sound like ages ago to some, it feels like yesterday to such a large population of our country.
Many times, we’ve found ourselves playing for an audience composed of the baby boomer generation — whether at corporate events, private parties, and even weddings — and have come to love and specialize in the very songs they heard growing up. This includes everything from classic rock to Motown, The Beatles to The Temptations.
