As the US starts to find its footing with reopening, events for the rest of the year and into 2022 may need to look a little different — and that could include smaller live wedding music groups or jazz ensembles for hire in person, incorporating a video component by default for guests who aren’t able to attend physically. To integrate video, we can either tune in to your Zoom or event link as another view of the action, which would work especially well for more choreographed ceremonies with intermittent music. Another option is to appoint a host or MC (say a member of the wedding party or other trusted guest) to carry around a single device, connecting attendees with each other, the performers, and the scene at large.
